the staff was helpful when i asked for directions. the location near orchard road was convenient. the room was tidy. the bathroom included a bathtub, which i found very useful.
i found some issues with the complimentary bar. the food choices there were limited. the tables in the lounge area were not always properly cleaned. (it felt a bit unhygienic)

The hotel was situated a short walk from Orchard Road, though it was very quiet at the hotel.
I found the lack of clothing storage in the room inconvenient. the furniture looked a bit old and some towels were frayed. Breakfast had very little choice available.

the reception staff were really good indeed! they were always happy to assist and very courteous. the room was spacious and clean. it was super comfortable too.
The gym is minimal. It has a few treadmills though the multipurpose machine is quite ancient.

I encountered several issues I felt were not acceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber. The biggest issue I had was the temperature of the room. It would not go below 25C. Staff acknowledged the problem but did nothing to resolve it, it really felt as if they did not care. No one apologized for the inconvenience, nor did they offer compensation.

The feather pillow was a welcome touch. i also appreciated the complimentary ice cream during check-in. It was a nice surprise. the steam sauna was good, and i used it . the swimming pool was adequate, nothing too special, but usable.
The ice cream that was offered previously during check in seems to have been discontinued. the 24-hour lounge had tables that did not appear properly cleaned. This concerned me. the food available was limited to nuts and leftover breakfast items. The selection was quite sparse.

the reduction in services was quite apparent. there WASN'T a happy hour anymore, that i remember. the breakfast selection FELT limited, the hotel needs to address the room lighting. it was some of THE WORST i've seen in a while.

the location is great. it is situated just behind paragon shopping centre. the staff are friendly. i also liked the refreshments that were available every day, like coffee.
i found that the snacks were not good. the nuts and pretzels seemed too hard. i worried i could damage a tooth. the noise insulation was poor. i could hear guests slamming doors, and it made it hard to sleep.
